The Day Long Awaited for Azimio Ultimatum protest

Azimio Party and opposition leader Raila Odinga is expected to launch his mass action plan against President William Ruto`s administration. The group had given the Presidents administrative 14 days to meet their needs before demonstrations. They were expected to demonstrate yesterday but failed after which they announced the protest to happen today.

Prior to their protest,  security officers were deployed in various parts of the country including the state house road.and the route between Kenya Comfort suites and Ralph Bunche Road.

In Kisumu the police camped along the State Lodge,Jomo Kenyatta highway. The security deployment was thought to be a threat until the protest were pushed to today.

Among the things that the Azimio La Umoja are protesting for, is the high cost of living. The group says that the curent government has made life unlivable with most of the things, such as flour, cooking gas and cooking oil prises shooting. According to Raila Odinga, the government is responsible for the harsh living condition.

The opposition leader is still also pushing for the IEBC Election Servers to be opened. Raila believes that he is the rightfull president and that the only way to prove that is by opening the servers. Raila is convincing his followere to fight for his leadership and promises a better living condition.
