CS Magoha bans all the Visits, Rallies and Public Gatherings in Schools

The decision by Education CS George Magoha to halt school rallies or public gatherings has been attributed to the behavior of people gathering without complying with Covid-19 guidelines.

Magoha issued a warning that he will take strict actions against individuals or school administrations that defy the ban.

Politicians have also been accused of holding gatherings in schools despite knowing that their actions expose students to coronavirus dangers. This is reckless and wanting behavior.

The move comes at a time when the country has been warned to brace for a possible fourth wave of Covid-19 in July.

Magoha, therefore, emphasized the importance that teachers too should prioritize the health and well-being of students over financial gain and decline to give school grounds for public functions.
