Between five-star estates in SouthC and Langata near Wilson airport residents woke up and found their homes and shops demolished.

People were seen by Bright Kenya news taking their merchandise and some of the iron sheets. Kijiji as it is known by residents in the area houses many people with children who live hand to mouth in the area by earning what they can from their little shops woke up to the horror of their shops being demolished. It is still not known if residents in the area had warnings before this happened.
