13 More People Succumb to Covid 19
Thirteen deaths reported due to Covid 19.

Thirteen people have been reported to succumb to covid 19 within 24hrs lapsing on Sunday. This has coined to the country's death toll of 2,117 caused by Covid 19. It has been reported that 1,221 Covid 19 patients have been admitted in various hospitals in the country, 4,060 patients under home- based care, 121 in Intensive Care Unit, 32 on ventilatory support and seven under observation. Out of 5,377 samples done in the last 24 hrs, 884 Covid 19 cases were reported.The positivity rate has increased to 16.6 percent.
According to the statistics done, Mutahi Kagwe; Health Cabinet Secretary reported number of cases in different counties. These are: 509 cases in Nairobi, 99 in Kiambu, 59 in Uasin Gishu, 48 in Machakos, 46 in Nakuru,38 in Kajiado, 13 in Meru, 12 in Kitui, 11 in Nandi, 9 in Kilifi, 5 in Elgeyo Marakwet, 5 in Marsabit, (4) Bungoma, (3) Murang'a and 93 in Vihiga. The remaining counties are said to have reported one case in each.
