The man was found stealing womens' panties and taking them to an unknown person who later confessed that the recipient is named Bernard, and his task was only to collect the inner clothing and deliver it to him.

According to one of the villagers, James Tonui, he had received complaints from his three teenage daughters that their inner wears were disappearing mysteriously.

The suspect indicated that he has been stealing for far too long and that he was tasked to do so by his so-called “employer.”

Several women from the village could not hold back their disappointments and went on to testify how their undergarments have been disappearing in bathrooms and clothing lines.

Caren Yegon, a villager, also registered her complaints that her newly bought panties went missing, and this raised her eyebrows and who the thief is and on what motive. Caren said she has been constantly purchasing her inner clothing, only for them to go missing.

The villager's outcry led to anger, and they wanted to lynch the man but were calmed by the Bargiro village manager  Peter Ruto who assured them that the interrogation will proceed and has asked for forgiveness for his acts and that should he be found culpable stern action will be taken against him. The police should also be on the lookout for such acts to ensure a peaceful stay in this village.

"I urge the police to be vigilant, and that should get someone suspicious, the said person should be arrested immediately. This man should be questioned further for his acts,’’ said Ruto.
