3 Guards killed in Kakamega in Line of Duty

Three guards out of five who were in the Line of Duty in Kakamega were murdered in cold blood after they were attacked by unknown armed robbers on Wednesday, June 9th night.

During the attack items such as a TV set, one laptop, a public address system, and some cash all valued at about k.shs 150,000 were stolen.

In addition, guard Edward Malala Wanyama aged 40years sustained a deep cut on the head, Henry Khaoya aged 55years sustained a severe head injury caused by a blunt object, and (3) Evans Wanyonyi aged 56years also sustained a severe head injury.

However, A guard by the name Situma Sitikho aged 45years who is suspected to have sustained internal injuries was admitted at Webuye County Hospital and is in stable condition.

One guard Luca Wanjala aged 48years escaped the filthy ordeal unhurt.

According to the area OCPD Thomas Ototo, the bodies of the deceased were later taken to the Webuye Hospital Mortuary as police launch further investigations while combing the men behind the evil act.
