5-Storey Building that Collapsed in Kinoo did not have NCA Approvals
The five-storey residential building under construction in Kinoo area, Kiambu County which collapsed had no proper foundation and was not approved by the National Construction Authority (NCA).

Experts and Engineers who visited the building said that the building crumbled because it stood on a weak foundation.
The building developed cracks before sinking in the early hours of Friday. No one was injured as masons who were at the site moved to safety on time.
Plans are underway to demolish the building with tenants who live close advised to stay away until further notice
The incident comes just three days after another building collapsed in Kihara, Gachi, Kiambu County a few kilometers away from Kinoo.
Experts have linked the rampant collapse of buildings to greedy developers dodging approvals from authorities.
