68- Year Old Woman Murdered By Unknown Assailants In Kericho
Villagers of Chesanga village, Cheplanget Location, Bureti in Kericho woke to the shock of a sixty-eight year old woman murdered mysteriously by unknown assailants.

According to one of the villagers, it is alleged that woman went to buy sugar from a nearby shop yesterday evening and never returned, only for her lifeless body to be discovered near her home by early risers.
Area chief Elijah Sigey confirmed the incident that the woman's eyes were gouged out, her eyes removed, ears cut off, and they are waiting for post-mortem to confirm further the details of any other harm caused on her body and if other parts of her private parts are intact.
The chief further indicated the scene had no other leads that could really signify that the assailants might be traced.
“The scene of the crime has no blood nor signs of struggle during strangulation. Scream wasn't heard during the murder,’’ said Sigey.
The body has been taken to the Kapkatet morgue to await further post-mortem examination.
