Do You Think KBC Will Rise Again Following Its Relaunch?
Following the rebrand of KBC, one of Kenya's oldest media houses, citizens have reacted to it differently in social media.
A Kenyan on Twitter says that he is rooting for KBC. He adds that the national broadcaster had been limping for a while. He believes that KBC Should be a giant as privates follow. He further gives an example of other national broadcasters in other countries like SABC, BBC, CGTN et al. He hopes that the content matches the legends coming back.
I am rooting for KBC. The national broadcaster has been limping for a while. Should really be a giant as privates follow. Look at SABC, BBC, CGTN et al. It's an interesting relaunch. Hope the content, which is king, matches the legends coming back #ThisIsKBC

Another says that BBC gets allocated 0.5% of UK’s annual budget thus why is one of the most profitable media companies in the world and UK’s enduring superpower soft power. He suggests that if the Kenyan government allocates KBC 0.5%, it’s Kshs. 18B and that will make KBC a media giant.
BBC gets allocated 0.5% of UK’s annual budget thus why is one of the most profitable media companies in the world & UK’s enduring superpower soft power … If we allocate KBC 0.5%, it’s Kshs. 18B & will make KBC a media giant .. They’ll even afford English Editors! #ThisIsKBC

Senator Millicent Omanga is delighted by the revamped KBC. She hopes that the national broadcaster will reclaim its lost glory. She promises to be tuning in to usher in the new look as a patriot.
Delighted by the revamped KBC. The national broadcaster must reclaim its lost glory, when it was the leader in news, politics, sports, entertainment and current affairs. As a patriot I'll be tuning in to usher in the new look and I hope content will follow the optics. #ThisIsKBC
