Ex Wajir Governor Petitions His Impeachment
CJ Martha Koome has directed a 3 judge bench to hear an application by ousted Wajir Governor, Mohammed Abdi Mohammud challenging his impeachment.

Justice Edward Muriithi, P. J. Otieno, and T. W Cherere will hear and determine the matter at the Meru high court. The petition has been listed for directions on Wednesday, 9th June at 3:00 pm virtually.
The same court had previously barred DG Mukhtar Ali from assuming office until Mohammud's petition was determined. Mohammud has been found guilty of abuse of office by a special committee of the Senate after the Wajir County Assembly impeached him last month.
