Is Covid-19 A Curse? A University Student Looses His Parents To Covid-19 In A Span Of A Week
Grace Adhiambo, 21, a third-year University Student has lost 2 parents in a span of a week from what is claimed to be Covid-19.

Kajuju East residents in Kisumu County are counting deaths of up to 46 within the same locality. The recent deaths at Osinde village being of Isaac Aduar,49, and his wife Leah Atieno, 36. This happened after Grace Adhiambo together with the late parents got infected with Covid-19 and hospitalized. Grace was lucky enough to recover. However, the parents succumbed starting with the father followed by the mother. Grace says it is traumatizing to lose both parents yet she is the only child in the family.
In a different family, Ibrahim Omollo, 69, passed on last Friday, 11th June in Kondele Quarantine centre. George Omondi his son, narrated how he did not expect his father Ibrahim to die that soon. Ibrahim died after battling with Covid-19 for 2 weeks.
Covid-19 survivors and Covid-19 stricken families in the area are highly stigmatized yet the villagers do not also take the precautions of being tested and vaccinated.
