Lang'ata DCI Detectives Arrest A Male Suspect Masquerading As A Woman
Peter Omweno Momanyi, aged 24, and his accomplice John Muchiri Kimani, aged 25, were placed in custody, waiting to be charged.

They were arrested by one police officer who noticed something amiss with them before he ordered them to stop, but they defied. One dressed as a woman.
After a chase, they were arrested few meters past the Mbagathi bridge, and crude weapons recovered from them. Momanyi was found in possession of a knife and a chain, carefully concealed on his waist. Detectives based at Lang'ata have established that the two are among suspects who waylay fitness enthusiasts. The two have been placed in custody, waiting to be arraigned. Members of the public who have lost valuables have been advised to report to Lang'ata Police Station for further police action.
