A Man Stabs His Two Children and Attempts To Kill Himself in Nyahururu
Ken Mburu stabs his two children repeatedly with a knife and attempts to commit suicide with the same knife in Ziwa Estate, Nyandarua County.

The two children are now fighting their lives in Nyandarua County Hospital following the attack by their father.
The father of two is also admitted to the same hospital after he attempted to end his own life.
The neighbors who were present at the time of incidence reported the brutal act as was a result of the quarrel that he had with his wife. The wife was not home at the time of the event.
Martha Nyambura, Mburu's wife, said the man had come home with a dog the previous night and demanded her to cater for the kennel construction. The mother however refused to. She left the children playing in the compound only to home and found a gathered crowd.
The incident was confirmed by the area Assistant Chief following the report from neighbors of childrens' cry out during the attack.
Samuel Mutiri was one of the first to arrive at the scene site. He found a two-year-old girl calling out her mother in pain and the elder girl pleading with the father to stop the brutal act.
The man stabbed his stomach and chest before running out of the compound when the neighbors attacked him and threatened to end his life.
