A Section of Uhuru Highway to Remain Closed for 21 Days

In a statement by the Kenya Highway Authority (KeNHA), the move is to pave way for the ongoing construction of the Expressway along Mombasa road.

The most affected section is the section will be between Bunyala roundabout and Nyayo stadium roundabout that will consequently affect people and motorists using Waiyaki way, Mombasa road, and Uhuru highway.

Motorists leaving town via the Uhuru Highway will have to use the Bunyala Road-Workshop Road-Lusaka route to connect to Mombasa Road at the Nyayo roundabout.

KeNHA has urged motorists to follow road signs, traffic management plans and also requested motorists to seek alternate routes until a safe, reliable road network is established.
