AFRICA'S WORST MISCONCEPTION.

Africans for a long time believe that they are not progressing...

AFRICA'S WORST MISCONCEPTION.

There has been a very strong misconception about Africans based on their innovation. Most people say that Africans don't trust their Innovations. But with the fact with us, we have to believe as Africans that we are equally capable of coming up with new ideas and changing or impacting the world through our research and Innovations. Let's change our mindset. The future for Africa is bright.

The research did across the Continents to determine those on the list- for each component of this monumental list they not only included people on the list from Africa but also breakthroughs, Ideas, and Creations were seen as very instrumental aspects contributing to the African growth story over the last decade.

Through covering innovations, inventions and icons, it can be defined due to the efforts Africans are making to make improvements from the previous inventions and ideas.

Within my scope, I cross-checked Africans contributed to the African growth story, be it through the role they have played representing Africa through their philanthropic and societal impact, there has been more pioneering industries in similar approach or even more and without doubt Africa is to be featured in the upcoming issues in the pages of magazines, newspapers, talks... name them, for her progress.

Many outside of the realm of Africa are unaware that Nollywood (Nigeria film industry) is technically larger than Hollywood in terms of films produced every year. The current OTT platforms are witness to these newly released stories are now on Netflix.

The World Bank released a report in 2020, Africa was listed that it could make a very quick recovery to its economy due to its diversity in terms of human resources and natural resources that are potential to yield expansive growth and wipe out poverty in the region. Thus, enabling Africans across the continent to live a healthier and more prosperous life.

The world for a long time has been holding a notion that Africa is a continent of need. But with the looks of the things Africans are representing a very opposite notion on this. Africa is a continent of creative innovators, entrepreneurs, teachers, and professionals. The effort made by the African continent on the problem faced with the covid-19  pandemic is a clear picture of what Africa as a continent can offer.

The young in particular should know that it's their responsibility to know that they are holding the solution to the present and future problems. They should prove wrong the perception that Africa is a continent of need -to a continent of potential. A continent with Opportunities to work for -not to be affected by the "brain drain" trend of African elites. we need to invest in research and believing that Africans are able. Africans let's do it!
