Antonio Conte: Reasons why the Italian tactician didn’t sign for Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte has opened up on why he rejected the move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Italian who left the Italian side about two weeks ago and linked to Premier League return to replace Jose Mourinho in Tottenham, has revealed that the North London club’s offer didn’t impress him.
Tottenham were confident that they have gotten their replacement after the search for about two months, but the talks with Conte collapsed just as they were about to come to be finalised. The failed talks has prompted chairman Daniel Levy to go back to the drawing board in search for a new manager.
Conte pulled out of the talks because he wasn’t in agreement with Spurs transfer budget.The club wanted to sell its players in order to buy new faces in a bid to strengthening its squad come next season.
He went further to say that it was the proposal and the project placed on the table for him by the Premier League club, that drove him away of accepting the offer but not the amount of money offered to him.
The 51-year-old would have been a perfect manager for Spurs basing on his experience and achievements he has received including his time at Chelsea. The focus now for Tottenham is set for former Shakhtar Paulo Fonseca.
