The governor, Country Secretary Jason Nyaga, County chief officer Ruth Ndirangu and the Finance and Economic Planning Executive john Njagi have been found guilt of contempt of court in a court ruling that was made on the 10th of march 2022.

The decision was arrived by the court because of the county government failing to pay the Kenya County Government Workers’ union statutory fees despite the court ordering so on the 1st of December 2020.

In his ruling, Judge John Njagi has given instructions to the Nyeri police station OCS to arrest the four.

The Embu governor and his leadership has failed to submit the statutory fees to the county workers union since  2020.
