United Democratic Alliance (UDA) legislator Rigathi Gachagua has alleged the person that president Uhuru Kenyatta will choose to be the running mate of former prime minister Raila Odinga in the August polls.

According to the vocal, Mount Kenya politician who is a close Ally to Deputy President William Ruto, the head of state will pick his brother Muhoho Kenyatta to be the deputy of Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga.
"Kuna wengine wametuambia asubuhi ati wanataka Rais uhuru Kenyatta ateuwe ndugu yake Muhoho akuwe naibu wa Raila Odinga (we've been told to-day that they want president Uhuru to pick his brother Muhoho to be Raila's deputy" Gachagua has claimed.

This is as the Deputy President has Tuesday stormed to Kajiado in a bid to woo the Maa community to back his presidential bid.
During his tour of the region, the second in command visited Kajiado East and South constituencies, where he held meetings with area residents.
Now, Gachagua's claims of president Uhuru Kenyatta handpicking his brother Muhoho to be Raila Odinga's running mate have drawn mixed reactions among Kenyans on social media.
