Azimio Parties Detect Something About Raila, Decides To Work With Someone Else

Details have emerged on why none of the parties joining the Azimio la Umoja Movement are singing in through a pact with the Raila Odinga-led ODM party.

Most of those that have joined the camp have done it through President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee Party, including the PAA party, whose leader, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi, is in the office on an ODM ticket.

Sources have revealed the reason behind this happenings, saying that it has everything to do with Raila's cunning and treacherous political ways.

The Standard has been told that these parties have detected that Raila might short-change them once elected and are seeking protection from Uhuru, who, according to sources, has their trust.

Jubilee Head of Elections, Kanini Kega, admitted that parties are choosing to come in through Jubilee, stating that this will be of great help to the party when it comes to its attempts to remain powerful.

“Jubilee will be the party to beat Mt Kenya. We will also have the most elected representatives,” the Kieni lawmaker is quoted.

Uhuru has since made it known that he is in Azimio to stay, remarks he made while attending an ODM NDC meeting at the Kasarani Stadium a few days ago.

“I am a Jubilee member, but from now, my blood is Azimio, the ideas in my head are Azimio, and my whole body is Azimio,” he was quoted by Daily Nation.

He is dealing with such at the moment, where he is being accused of refusing to honor an agreement dictating that he supports Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, his former running mate, for the top seat.
