Babu Owino's Message Ahead of the Supreme Court's Judgement

Embakasi East Member of Parliament has sent a message today, ahead of the Supreme Court's much-anticipated decision. His message could be a signal about what to expect today in relation to the presidential petition filed in August.

Taking to his Twitter account, Babu Owino praised their Azimio la Umoja party leader, Raila Odinga for being a hero.

"Baba you will forever be my hero," part of the tweet read.

According to his message, Babu Owino also sent a message of encouragement to their party leader.

"They played you all. It was a long con. We live to fight another day," the tweet read.

His message comes as the country is waiting for the final judgment to be made at 12.00 p.m by the Supreme court.

According to a notice from the Supreme Court of Kenya's registrar, Letizia Wachira, the seven-judge bench will deliver the judgment at Milimani Law courts.

Chief Justice Martha Koome, Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu, Isaac Lenaola, Smokin Wanjala, Ibrahim Mohammed, Njoki Ndungu, and William Ouko are among the judges who will be present during the decision.

"Take notice that the judgment in this petition will be delivered on Monday, September 5, 2022, at noon at the Supreme Court of Kenya Milimani Law Courts," part of the statement read.
