Bangladesh Declines US Plea to Shelter Afghan Refugees

Following the recent chaos and violence that has been witnessed between the Talibans and Afghanistans especially at the Kabul Airport on Monday 16th where at least three people were killed, the US has now requested the Dhaka city in Bangladesh to temporarily shelter Afghanistan refugees.

However, the US plight was declined by the Bangladesh city over unrevealed reasons.
Close reports also reveal that Pakistan, Turki, Uzbek refused to take Afghan refugees.

Bangladesh is a country in South Asia. It is the eighth-most populous country in the world.


This comes at a time on Monday 16th where more than 600  Afghanistan were flown using USAF C-17 US military cargo plane which is supposed to carry 140 people.

On Sunday 15TH the Taliban declared victory after Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled abroad and his government collapsed.
The militants' return to rule brings an end to almost 20 years of a US-led coalition's presence in the country.
