BBI Secretariat Sifuna Takes Appeal to Supreme Court
The Secretariat of the Building Bridges Initiative Edwin Sifuna stated on Thursday 26th that they will move to the Supreme Court to challenge the Court of Appeal's decision that annulled the BBI bill.

According to Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, there were several anomalies in both the High Court and Court of Appeal's rulings, which would cause uncertainty and legal instability in the country, speaking at the BBI Secretariat offices in Nairobi.
Sifuna also added that Kenyans needed to know why the courts rejected the measure, which was backed by more than four million people.
He stated that the High Court and the Court of Appeal both failed to recognize the delicate balance that was required.
Junet added, "We need the highest court in the land to pronounce itself on the topic."
The move contradicts ODM leader Raila Odinga's prior announcement that the party would not appeal the appellate court's judgment.
