Agricultural Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya has spoken for the first time since the Building Bridges initiative {BBI} process was halted by the high court.
Christine Juma According to CS Peter Munya, he stated that the BBI is what Kenyans need in order to ensure there's peace and stability.
Munya`s remarks come barely three days after the Kenyan high court stopped the BBI process terming it as unconstitutional.
According to the ruling, the president, government, or any state organ cannot initiate a popular initiative to amend the constitution.
They, therefore, declared the BBI process unconstitutional, null, and void.
