Blogger Alai Denies Hitting Singer Apoko with a Rungu
Controversial Kenyan Blogger Robert Alai on Monday 9th August denied involving himself in an ugly altercation with popular gospel musician Ringtone Apoko in the Rungu Saga.

This comes barely a week after singer Apoko moved to South Africa for further treatment as claimed by his lawyer.
However, according to Alai while speaking to online content creators he claimed that he did not hit Ringtone nor he was not carrying a rungu.
He also added that he was not aware of Ringtone`s case and he needed to bring enough evidence to prove that he was assaulted.
Alai further claimed that he was only brought to Kilimani Police station to answer some cases which say that he did not follow traffic rules.
Ironically a video trended online on Friday 23rd July showing Robert Alai with a rungu in a bid to mission revenge.
Ringtone stated earlier “I hooted and gestured him to give way, and instead, he started following my car along Oliotoktok Road.
“He then blocked my way and started hitting me with a rungu (club) on the head. He has also damaged my car. I’m heading to the hospital," Ringtone stated after the incident.
