Blow to Kenyans as Tik Tok Bans Crate Challenge
An unexpected blow struck Kenyans on Monday 3oth August after the TikTok application banned the popular “milk crate challenge” from its platform over safety measures.
Christine Juma According to Tik Tok, they prohibited the challenge on their platform since users participating in it could be seriously injured.
“TikTok prohibits content that promotes or glorifies dangerous acts, and we remove videos and redirect searches to our Community Guidelines to discourage such content. We encourage everyone to exercise caution in their behavior, whether online or off.” The App’s spokesperson said.

The challenge involved People stacked milk box walls and walked over them. This usually resulted in the pyramid crumbling, occasionally resulting in physical damage and internal injury.
