Toto had earlier publicly claimed during her campaigns that the man was her husband.

Ironically during her interview on one of the tv stations in the country, Toto stated that she was a single bird.

The 24-year-old Linet Chepkorir became the youngest-ever Woman Rep to be elected. Chepkorir amassed 242,775 votes and was consequently declared Bomet's representative in the National Assembly.

However, during Toto`s interview she revealed that before she embarked on her political journey, she worked as a hawker and a househelp.

“I graduated last year in procurement. I started selling clothes in Bomet where I was employed by someone there. I left that and started selling chips in a certain hotel. I used to earn 200 bobs per day,” narrated Linet as reported by a local media house.

“All along I have been a leader, that is from childhood, primary school, high school, and even in college and even in the church. I knew immediately after my graduation I was going to vie for this particular position,” she continued.

She then thanked her parents for supporting her political aspirations and endorsing her.

“They are very proud of me. They have a politician daughter. I want to thank them for endorsing me.”
