BREAKING: Arnautovic Banned for One Match for Insulting a Player

Striker Marko Arnautovic has been handed a one-match ban for insulting a North Macedonia player Gianni Alioski during their hot-tempered Euro 2020 clash at the weekend.

According to the North Macedonian football federation, they said on Monday it had submitted a request to UEFA to punish Arnautovic for a nationalist outburst after he scored during the match.

UEFA has now punished Aenautovic with a one-game ban, which will see him ruled out of the game against the Netherlands on Wednesday.

However, Arnautovic denied using racist words during the match in Bucharest but apologized for his goal celebration in a post on his Instagram page.
