But what about how hard it is to trust the process, who is going to say that?

Trust the process, they said. All in good time, they said. It will all work out, they said. But what about how hard it is to trust the process, who is going to say that?  What about how hard and tiring it gets to wait out the 'good time'? Who is going to mention how much you will question when it will all work out?

It's easy to get lost in a sea of motivational quotes and stories. That is up until the moment you wake up to reality and how harsh it can be. We all fancy a soft life. The good life where our money works for us and our financial worries can be solved at the swipe of a card. (That is if you believe that it's possible to purchase happiness in the form of booze and shoes, or cars and trips, whatever suits your fancy).

But it is even easier to look up to a figure and want to be where they are in life and forget all that they went through to get there. Trust the process could actually mean that you should trust the amount of energy and work you put in throughout the years. Notice that I said years. Rome wasn't built in a day, and it's like we tend to forget this point. Important and great work will take time.

Kind of like when you go to a restaurant and order a unique delicacy. You are brought some refreshments as you wait for your meal. Someone else might come after you and get their fries and burger and this might get really annoying because YOU WERE THERE FIRST!!! right? WRONG! What you ordered is not what they ordered. So if you want your rare delicate dish in life, you're going to have to wait for it. Give it time. Give it a lot of time. All in good time means a longer time than what you think it means. Again I say, Rome was not built in a day.
