Carlo Ancelotti Takes Over Real Madrid as the New Coach

The former Everton manager has signed a three-year contract with the Spanish giants Real Madrid.

However, Ancelotti was not Florentino Perez and John Angel Sanchez’s first option but since they couldn’t sign Allegri or Pochettino, they saw the Italian tactician fit to return to Los Blancos.

Ancelotti arrives in Real Madrid after ending his contract with Everton in an amicable way, returning to another club where is still respected.

The Italian was in charge of Real Madrid between 2013 and 2015 where he won the 10th European Cup in his first season for the club.

During Ancelotti’s first spell, Real Madrid made the most memorable runs as they put together 22 victories in a row between September 2014 and January 2015 where they scored 80 goals and conceded just 10 during the time.

According to a statement, Carlo Ancelloti said, “While I have enjoyed being at Everton, I have been presented with an unexpected opportunity which I believe is the right move for me and my family at this time.”
