The battle for the control of the Luhya vote has begun in earnest with Kenya Kwanza Coalition,  Azimio La Umoja movement and One Kenya Alliance crisscrossing the region.

The leading lights of the three groupings has on Saturday pitched camp in different parts of western region. 

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho on Saturday led a team of governors and MPs allied to Azimio la Umoja to Busia where they seemingly received a warm reception with many people turning out in large numbers.

On the other hand, Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday led the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to Kakamega county, in a hunt for votes.

Ruto was accompanied by ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and a host of other leaders and aspirants for the mega rally.
The Kenya kwanza coalition pulled huge crowds as seen in the videos and photos shrewd on social media.


Lastly, One kenya Alliance also stormed Kakamega county where they were led by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka Narc Kenya boss Martha Karua and Kanu chairman Gideon Moi.
Also as per the photos shared online, the OKA team was heavily received by residents of the region.
