Crispy Golden Chicken Potato Cutlets Recipe
Chicken Potato cutlets are a perfect snack for tea time with a yummy flavour of chicken and potatoes. Very easy to prepare at home and can be used as a starter to any meal. Here is how you can make some deliciously spiced and crispy chicken and potato cutlets.
Ingredients
300g potatoes
250g boneless chicken breast
1 chopped onion
¼ tsp turmeric
½ tsp ground black pepper
5 finely chopped green chilli
Enough vegetable oil
For breading
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups breadcrumbs
Procedure
Boil the chicken in water with a pinch of salt until fully cooked, cool and place in a food processor until roughly shredded
Peel and boil the potatoes with salt to taste until completely tender, mash and set aside
Grate the onions, squeeze the water that comes out from it, so it becomes quite dry
Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan, sauté the green chilli to the onions and fry until fragrant.
Add the shredded chicken, black pepper, turmeric and a pinch of salt to the pan.
Sauté for 5 minutes, then add the mashed potatoes, mix everything until uniform, then let it cool down
Roll the mixture into equal-sized balls and set aside
Dip each cutlet ball in egg and evenly coat with breadcrumbs; repeat the procedure twice
Deep fry each cutlet until golden brown
Serve hot with a dip of choice
