Crispy Lemon Smashed Potatoes Recipe
Lemon smashed potatoes that are crispy and golden on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside can be made with this recipe.
Ingredients
6 medium-sized potatoes
3 tablespoons melted margarine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
Procedure
Pre-heat oven to 200°C
Boil potatoes in a large pot of salted water until fork-tender then drain well.
Lightly grease the baking tin with cooking oil
Arrange potatoes onto the tray and use a potato masher to gently flatten each potato piece
Mix the butter, lemon juice, and garlic and pour the mixture over each potato.
Sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper
Broil in the oven until they are golden and crispy (about 15 minutes). Remove from oven season with a little salt and pepper then serve immediately.
