CS Prof. George Magoha: Examination Containers Must be Opened At 6:30 a.m Across the Country
Education Cabinet Secretary, Prof. George Magoha, has cautioned all center managers that the examination containers must be opened at 6.30 am across the country to ease the distribution of examination papers in schools.
Prof Magoha said this today while commissioning the two CBC classrooms and two laboratories at Kapsabet Boys High School, Nandi County.
According to the Cabinet secretary, there have been regrettable behaviors where center managers and invigilators manning the stations arrive at the stations late and therefore making the administration of examinations papers.
“All examination containers must be opened at 6.30 a.m. The invigilators and center managers must be at the stations on or before that time. We do not like complacency in the administration of the examinations,” said Prof. Magoha
The CS said this amid several cases of exam irregularities with an arrest being made by the authorities.
The CS has cautioned those spearheading the cheating that stern action will be taken against them should they be found doing engaging in examinations malpractices.
