DCI Hunt For Woman Behind Child Trafficking In Kenya
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations are on the lookout for a woman accused of heading a child trafficking ring in the country.

Elizabeth Litonde, according to detectives, is the mastermind behind the trafficking of children from Kenya to other countries.
She is thought to have fled to western Kenya just as our serious crimes section officers were closing in on her.
"Detectives are looking for Elizabeth Emboyoga Litonde (Pictured), in connection to a child trafficking ring in the country. Litonde is suspected to be the mastermind behind disappearance of school going children who are then trafficked outside the country as slaves. She is believed to have escaped to western Kenya moments before our sleuths from the serious crimes unit pounced on her," the DCI stated on their Twitter page.
According to DCI Chairman George Knoti, Elizabeth Emboyoga Litonde is accused of being the mastermind behind the disappearance of school-aged children who were taken out of the nation as enslaved people.
He further told the public that anyone with information that could lead to her arrest should contact the DCI.
“Any info regarding her whereabouts will greatly assist us in safeguarding the lives of our children,” said the DCI.
