Investigators in Mombasa county have nabbed Swabir Abdulrazaq Mohamed who was captured prosecuting a suspect by use of a burning mosquito net.

The suspect said to be a guard at Ajab Unga limited in Mombasa reportedly tortured a man who has not been identified for alleged trespass.

In the clip doing rounds across social media pages, Swabir Abdulrazaq Mohamed can be seen pouring flaming drops on the victim as well as wiping him with a plastic pipe.

The victim's hands appear tied, while his neck can also be seen tied with a rope on an electricity pole. He can also be heard begging for mercy from the persecutor but to no avail.

The suspect immediately went into hiding, forcing the law enforcers to initiate a manhunt. Upon his arrest, Swabir Abdulrazaq Mohamed told detectives that he handed over the victim to two police officers he could not identify.

However, officers maintained that no police station had records for such incident, adding that no station would have admitted the victim in his state before having him treated.

Efforts are still ongoing to trace the victim believed to be a street boy to record his statement. Swabir Abdulrazaq Mohamed will be appearing in court on Tuesday (tomorrow) to answer charges related to grievous harm.

Detectives are also reportedly contemplating slapping him with attempted murder charges.
