Dorm Fire at Moi Gesusu High
Three students are under interrogation by the Kisii police over the fire that burnt a dormitory at Moi Gesusu High School in Nyaribari, Masaba Constituency.

The students flamed the newly constructed dormitory on Tuesday night which destroyed the bedding and student’s personal belongings. Although no student was injured in the incident.
According to principal Lukas Matiko, the three students were missing from their classrooms during the incident and one of them is on the run.
“Currently, we’re speaking to one student who skipped the evening preps for other leads on the cause of the fire,” said Mr. Matiko.
The school has made plans to assist the affected students while serious investigations continue given that this is the second fire at the school.
