The announcement will be made in the presence of education officials at the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) offices.

According to sources privy to this publication, the Basic Education Principal Secretary Julius Jwan arrived at the KNEC Headquarters at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, ahead of the results' official release.

In 2018, 831,015 candidates took the exam in 10,413 locations, compared to 752,981 in 10,437 locations in 2020.

This represents a 9.39 percent increase of 78,034 people. The results announcement will pave the way for admission to universities, colleges, and technical schools.

University Education PS Simon Nabukwesi previously stated that the candidates will begin classes in June.

Those enrolled in colleges and vocational schools, he said, will report in September.

The students had until April 1 to choose courses through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement portal.

This gives parents only one month to prepare for their children's enrollment.
