Elizabeth Wangui Muchiri Appointed Representative At SRC
President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed Elizabeth Muchiri a representative at Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
Muchiri has served as the police reforms communication committee chair, director of communication at the Interior Ministry, and a journalist.
The appointment comes after the president nominated her as the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) representative at the SRC.
Ms. Wangui has taken an oath of office at the Supreme Court of Kenya as the representative of the NPSC.
She took to her Twitter page to thank the president for her new position and her former colleagues for their support while in public service.

She remarked on her new position by pledging to serve the country with courage, conviction, and selflessness.
She said, “To the National Police Service of Kenya, I promise to represent you the same way you serve the nation with courage, conviction and selflessness.”
The SRC acknowledged Wangui’s work in serving the public service and acting in the interest of the citizens.
