Portugal are set to retain their title they won in 2016 in France when they defeated the hosts by 1-0 in the extra time to lift the trophy.

This is the second time in a row that Portugal and Hungary meet after their last tournament group stage showdown where the match ended in a 3-3 draw. Ronaldo scored the equalising goal to deny Hungary the win.

Portugal’s head coach Fernando Santos is optimistic that his team will retain the title just as Spain did it in 2012, with players like Ruben Dias, Joao Felix and Bruno Fernandes calibre and entire team.

Cristiano is the player to watch in the Portuguese side. He scored three goals in their glory in 2016 tournament including two in the fixture like this and helping his team win the title. The five time Balon d’or winner, netted 11 goals in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. He is definately the man who can lead Portugal into a back to back title glory.

Hungary have kept six clean sheets in their last 10 games. This will give Portugal an extra caution this round. Their star Willi Orban will be the key player to replicate the performance they showed in the last tournament. The RB Leipzig defender only missed five games in Bundesliga where they finished second last season. He has played 16 champions League games in his football career.

The second game of the night will have France eager to reach the final for the second time in a row as they meet Germany who overpowered them in the 2014 World Cup by 1-0 in quarter final and eventually won the trophy.

French have advantage since they defeated them 2-0 in the semi final of Euro 2016, having beaten them five games since then.

Mbappe will be the key player to lead the striking position and shake Germany defence. The PSG player is the star to watch having scored 40 goals in the Bundesliga in his first season. He also won the best young player in the 2018 World Cup.

Germany head coach Joachim Loew will have to do anything since he has home advantage as the game is played at Allianz Arena. The coach has a wealth of attacking talents starting from Serge Gnabry, Kai Havertz and Thomas Muller among others.

In Allianz Arena, around 14,000 fans will be allowed to witness the clash while in Budapest around 68,000 will be allowed in.
