Ex-Statehouse Comptroller Abraham Kiptanui Dies in Nairobi Hospital

Abraham Kiptanui, a long-serving statehouse comptroller during ex-President Daniel Moi's regime is dead. The former state official reportedly breathed his last in Nairobi hospital on Sunday (today) morning after a long illness.
Reporting his demise, Kiptanui's family stated how he rested peacefully in the full presence of his family members. The bereaved family further urged the public to remember them in prayers during this trying moment.
The late reportedly served the second president of Kenya the late Daniel Moi until his retirement in 1996.
