The Olympics opening ceremony is set to begin take place on 23rd July and has left organizers in scramble to finalize the set up with whether the fans would be allowed for the games still not decided.

Tokyo lifted coronavirus state of emergency on Sunday with restrictions in place until the 11th of July and banned the overseas spectators.

They will only allows smaller number of people of upto 5,000 spectators in the stadium with the number expected to rise to 10,000 people after July 11th or even more according to reports.

This has brought controversies with medical experts and advisors who prefer the games to be held closed doors to prevent further upsurge of the virus.

The ruling is expected on Monday afternoon, after five-way talks between Tokyo 2020 organisers and officials from Japan's government, the Tokyo government, the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee.
