Fatuma Gedi Set to Provide Evidence Against DP Ruto on Land Grabbing Allegations.
Wajir Women representative has promised to table evidence against the Deputy President William Ruto on land grabbing allegations.

Speaking at the floor of the National assembly, the controversial women representative said that the Deputy president is on record of having acquired land through dubious meands in various parts of the country including, Wajir, Taita Taveta, Langata and in Trans Nzoia county.
“It is in the public domain including court orders where one William Ruto grabbed land and I have no apology to make. Give me two days and I will bring the details,” Gedi stated.
Speaker Muturi gave Gedi until Thursday at 2:30 p.m. to offer her corroboration before the House because she had previously stated that she could come up with information that may supposedly indict DP Ruto.
“Remember you are the one who has undertaken to provide the evidence. Ordinarily we don’t allow people to say that they will provide evidence after two days,” Muturi said.
“When you say something here you are expected to have the material but given the gravity of what you have just said I will allow you and therefore Hon. Gedi on Thursday 14th at 2:30 pm we expect you to come with the details.” He added.
After DP Ruto allies like Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah and his Endebess counterpart Robert Pukose pressed her to back up her accusations, Gedi agreed.
“Fatuma Gedi is supposed to substantiate and provide evidence that that particular candidate has grabbed land. It is only right that Gedi either substantiates or withdraws and apologizes especially for naming DP Ruto,” Ichung’wa said.
“Fatuma Gedi is on record claiming that William Ruto grabbed land can she provide that evidence in this house. We want her to provide evidence and substantiate,” Pukose who is a die-hard supporter of the Deputy President William Ruto said.
