Finally, the Tanzanian Government issues a Statement on President Magufuli
Speaking on Friday, Tanzania’s Prime Minister scotched rumors on whereabouts and health issues associated with President Magufuli.

According to the Prime Minister, the President is in the country working hard in his office, therefore, disputing the claims going around the social media.
“Tanzanians be calm, your president is there, in good health, he is working,” Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa said.
The Prime Minister was speaking on Friday prayers at the main mosque in Njombe town Southern Tanzania.
They were rumors going around social media that President Magufuli was suffering from Covid-19 and that he was receiving treatment in a Kenyan Hospital.
“He [President Magufuli] has loads of files. Now when he stays there [in his office] going through documents,” Mr. Majaliwa said, “You say: ‘He is ill, let him appear.’ Following your own schedule or according to his work plan?
“The president has his own work schedule and can’t appear under your directions.”
