Barcelona’s midfielder Frenkie De Jong has been named as La Liga’s most valuable player with an estimated figure of €138 million based on future transfer potential and performance arc.

This is according to a survey that was done by football transfer experts CIES. It revealed that his teammate Pedri is second and 7th in the list with a value predicted to be €133 million.
The Dutchman has established himself in Barca as a key midfielder since joining the club in 2019 from Ajax Amsterdam with his eye-catching performance.
Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix who is third and 9th overall has a value of €127 million followed by Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior who is 18th in the list rated to be €104 million.
De Jong made 37 appearances for the Catalans in 2020/21 season scoring 3 goals and providing 4 assists. He played 7 matches in the Champions League.
The 21-year-old made his senior debut in Netherlands in 2018 and has played 27 games.
