Juventus veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has announced that he will leave Juventus at the end of this season. Buffon, who has spent more than ten seasons in Juventus, is finally hanging his boots as far as Turin is concerned. He announced this via his social media accounts, thanking the whole Turin fraternity for the love and support they have given him.
The experienced goalkeeper does not realize his main target of winning the Champions League medal after trying it on numerous occasions.
Buffon has made 683 appearances for the Old Lady, making him the player with the most appearances in the club's history. In this period, he has managed to win a total of 21 trophies, including consecutive Scudetto from 2010 to 2017.
Juventus is currently undergoing several challenges, including their reduced chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season. They are currently ranked number five in Serie A after suffering a 3-0 defeat to their neighbors and rivals AC Milan.
