The bull is reported to have been grazing by the roadside and charged at the two when the grandson started running after seeing the giant bull.

Neighbors who heard the commotion hurried to the scene to help the victims and the grandmother was taken to a local hospital.

The 60-year-old grandmother suffered significant wounds in her head, and abdomen, and five of her ribs were fractured. She eventually passed away on Monday.

Locals are demanding that the bull's owner slaughters it in accordance with Isukha's custom.

A local said that in accordance with Isukha tradition, if a bull kills someone, it must be slain and its meat given to the nearby neighbors. The meat cannot, however, be consumed by the victim's family.
