Gor Mahia's Ex-captain Kenneth Muguna Signs 2-year Deal with Azam FC

Kenneth Muguna Mugambi the Harambee Stars Midfielder and former Captain for Gor Mahia  Joined Azam Football Club where he signed a two-year deal on Wednesday 21st.

The SportPesa Premier League Footballer of the Year Kenneth becomes the side's fourth signing of the season as they prepare for the Caf Confederations Cup competition set for September.

At the moment Azam has already signed two players, Charles Zulu and Rodgers Kola, as they hope to boost the squad.

The great shocking news comes barely a day when the midfielder penned a lengthy on his Facebook account on Tuesday 20th to bid his team and the club { Gor mahia} a farewell.

"When I arrived at this great club I was just a young man with dreams of representing the biggest club in the country," the 25-year-old  I didn't expect things to go as well as they did but you made it a lot easier for me and not to forget the high level of players with so much quality who were always there to support and make me feel comfortable," Muguna continued.

"Looking at what I have achieved at the club is so satisfying, I was lucky enough to play under great coaches and great management as well.

Thanks to the chairman and the whole management for the effort they showed in renewing my contract which didn't materialize because I felt I needed a new challenge.

Thanks for the years we spent together and I hope that we enjoy the remaining matches," He concluded. 

Muguna leaves Gor with three months left on his contract.
