Governor Obado On Another Scandal
Migori Governor Okoth Obado is yet again on another mysterious scandal. This is after he was accused of embezzling funds from his county government.

In earlier 2019 The Migori Governor was also accused by the Ethics and anti-corruption Commission {EACC} of corruption practices with his counterparts Beatrice Ogutu, Kennedy Akelo, and Kennedy Anyango.
This however later landed them in jail but was later set free.
According to the Ethics and anti-corruption commission {EACC}, the Migori boss allegedly purchased a lavish home in Lavington Nairobi and later bought two luxurious vehicles for his daughters.
In addition lawyer, Culent Simiyu, also alleged that Governor Obado also used the remaining money in paying for his daughter's tuition fees and the rest in purchasing luxurious materials such as two land cruisers registered in his daughter’s name.
Apparently, EACC now demands that Obado and his children forfeit all their acquired assets as they belong to the county government of Migori.
The governor has been in many scandals as the ODM party resolved to have him impeached together with members of the county assembly who also signed a motion against him, in September last year, on a similar case.
