A grisly road accident happened along the busy mombasa highway on Tueaday as a woman who was driving a probox without a license knocked down a rider.
The eye witnesses claimed that the authorized probox driver who was a man handed the vehicl to a woman he was carrying before the accident happened.
It was found out later that the woman was not in possession of a valid drivers license meaning that she is not qualified nor authorized to drive without an instructor.
The knocked rider was badly injured , while the probox veered off the road surviving a crash by a whisker. The incident took place at Airtel.
Mombasa road is a very busy road and with the ongoing construction of the Express way,drivers are urged to be very careful and some careless actions ofhanding over vehicles to trainees or novice drivers must cease.
Many riders and passers-by flocked at the scene to see what was happening, which resulted in congestion along the busy road.The accident happened immediately after the driver handed over the vehicle to the said woman.
