Leicester's defensive abysmal form continued as they failed to keep yet another clean sheet in a 2-0 loss to Arsenal as the visitors exposed their defensive frailties.

It took Arsenal less than 5 mins to leave their mark as Gabriel latched on to a Bukayo Saka cross to head it home after a fantastic run forward to goal.

Aubameyang and Thomas Partey each tested Danish keeper Peter Shmeichel before Arsenal doubled the lead. Alexandre Lacazette and Bukayo Saka teamed up in a beautiful counter attack as the Foxes backline was scattered all over the place. Emile Smith Rowe pounced upon a loose ball and delivered a neat finish past Kasper Shmeichel to send the Foxes in a dilemma.

However Leicester weren't going down without a fight as Aaron Ramsdale was forced off a great save by Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho. The Arsenal keeper made yet another great save as he denied Leicester an equalizer via a marvellous James Maddison free-kick.

Brendan Rodgers men regrouped after the first period and went out all attack with chances from Harvey Barnes and Luke Thomas trinkling wide off the far post. Ramsdale was all hands-on-deck all game long as he was called upon again denying Ademola Lookman and Harvey Barnes.

Midway second period it was Ramsdale's opposite number Shmeichel that was put to test as he denied Aubameyang in close range. Leicester persisted but Arteta's men stood their ground ensuring all three points went back to the Emirates.

Arsenal have now won on their last three encounters at the King Power Stadium and currently sit at fifth place. The North Londoners seemed to have found their groove after a poor start to this year's campaign with three straight losses, nine goals conceeded and zero goals scored. Meanwhile Leicester drop to tenth place and could go down the pecking order even further depending on the rest of today's games.
